This course introduces students to concepts, principles and techniques of data analysis, linear programming, integer-mixed linear programming, and Markov chains for making smart and successful decisions in different contexts.
Business Analytics
Master's Degree in Technology and Engineering Management.
This course is an introduction to techniques to make data-driven decisions in the business context that go beyond the use of spreadsheets, still the standard for data analysis and manipulation in many organisations. Students learn to acquire, manipulate and visualise data, and to use techniques of data analysis of classification, prediction, clustering and pattern recognition.

This course offers the fundamentals of teams management. It will focus on how to develop teams, improve and sustain team performance, and understand the skills needed at the individual level and the dynamics among the members.
