This paper aims to examine the role of virtual distance learning according to the need for continuous training pointed to by the European Higher Education Area and considering the continuing evolution of ICT. Under this construct, an exploratory study is performed to 60 students of Industrial Engineering, based on the insights gained after several sessions of webinars. The experimental research provides relevant empirical information about the efficiency of webinars in the continuing formation.
